This extension provides language selection field that can be used by data-sources to sort entries in the same order as list of languages accepted by browser. Provides "browser-languages" parameter.

Overview

Field: Language extension provides language selection box field. It also adds "browser-languages" parameter to the list of all parameters available for data-sources and XSLT to use.

When data-source is sorted by language field, it can take browser's language settings into account, to sort entries in the same order as list of browser's languages.

Installation

  1. Upload the 'languagefield' folder in this archive to your Symphony 'extensions' folder.
  2. Enable it by selecting the "Field: Language", choose Enable from the with-selected menu, then click Apply.
  3. You can now add the "Language" field to your sections.
